GutSnapAI is designed for private personal wellness tracking. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app processes, why it is processed, and how to contact us.

• When you take a stool photo, a temporary clear photo may be sent to an AI model for non-medical analysis.
• GutSnapAI saves only the blurred copy you choose to keep in your local history on your device.

Information processed by the app

The app may process stool photos you choose to take, AI-generated wellness estimates, selected check-in tags, dates, Gut Score estimates, Bristol-type estimates, color/consistency estimates, and blurred local history images.

Photos and AI analysis

To provide the core analysis feature, a temporary clear photo may be sent to an AI model provider for analysis. The AI model returns a non-medical wellness estimate such as stool type, color, consistency, possible check-in signals, and safety guidance for concerning signs.

GutSnapAI does not save the original clear photo in your app history. If you choose to save a result, GutSnapAI stores only a blurred image copy and related wellness estimate data locally on your device.

Local storage

Saved GutSnapAI logs are stored locally on your device. You can clear saved logs from the app settings. Removing the app from your device may also remove local app data, depending on your iOS settings and backups.

No medical advice

GutSnapAI is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. If you notice blood, black or tarry stool, severe pain, fever, dehydration, sudden changes, or any urgent symptoms, seek medical care.

How we use information

• To show your saved blurred history and trends on your device.
• To help you understand personal patterns over time.
• To respond to support requests you send us by email.

Tracking and selling data

GutSnapAI does not sell your data. The current TestFlight build does not use third-party advertising tracking.

GutSnapAI is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Do not use the app for a child without appropriate consent and medical guidance.
